Interbets Ad Campaign

For years, DG Interactive maintained Catskill Off-Track Betting’s website. But until recently,
visitors were only legally allowed to bet over the phone.

In 2010, Interbets was finally authorized to accept bets over the Internet and the game changed. Suddenly, Interbets.com was competing against a number of high profile Internet wagering sites and we needed to create online ads to build awareness among bettors.

DG Interactive created an initial set of two ads in various sizes to show Interbets as a leader in the industry and as a high-end site with features important to bettors. The first is a branding ad — showing a horse race where the Interbets logo beats them all and implying that Interbets is the winner among all the websites that legally accept online wagers in New York.

But one of the biggest features of the site is that account holders have access to unlimited live video of the races and race replays. So we showcased this by simulating a horse race inside a Flash ad with the horse crossing the finish line and then rewinding to show it all over again. This ad beat industry standard click-through figures by a wide margin and has led to large numbers of new accounts.
